Course Objective: To give basic level theoretical information about common diseases in orthopedics, neurosurgery and obstetrics and gynecology and to teach basic information for the assessment and treatment of these diseases.
Course Description: Evaluation and treatment of orthopedic problems in the hip joint, evaluation and treatment of orthopedic problems in the knee joint, evaluation and treatment of orthopedic problems in the ankle joint and foot, evaluation and treatment of orthopedic problems in the spine, evaluation and treatment of orthopedic problems in the upper extremity, pregnancy physiology and obstetrics, incontinence, incontinence surgeries, cervical and lumbar disc hernias, head trauma and intracranial tumors, spinal traumas and spinal tumors, hydrocephalus, congenital and developmental central nervous system anomalies, upper abdominal surgery, open heart surgeries, lung surgeries, lower abdominal surgery, vascular surgery (CABG), vascular injuries, fistulas, aneurysmectomy, respiratory arrest (cardiac arrest and resuscitation), preoperative diagnosis methods and preparation for the operation, postop complications, postop risk factors and surgical infections
